Rev. Martin L. Streator M. A. (1843-1926) was a Disciples of Christ minister and author. He attended Bethany College in West Virginia which was founded by Alexander Campbell who took part in the Restoration Movement, which the Christian Church and Church of Christ would come out of. Streator was the State Evangelist for Pennsylvania for five and a half years before becoming the minister at Youngstown and Ravenna, Ohio. He later accepted a position as a missionary pioneer to the State of Montana and planted several new congregations in the 1880s made up of settlers from Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and other eastern states. In 1900 Streator published a book titled The Anglo-American Alliance in Prophecy which strongly promoted the Anglo-Israel truth. According to Streator the book was widely accepted, and he received much feedback from it.
